Who we are
LISTED CASA is a luxury property marketplace representing residences and the advisors who sell them. In this policy “we” and “us” mean LISTED CASA and its offices; “you” means anyone using this website or contacting us through it.
For privacy questions, write to privacy@listed.casa or call the United Kingdom office on +44 7879 649176.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us and what a website necessarily sees.
- Enquiry details. When you use a contact or message form: your first and last name, email address, telephone number if you provide one, and the content of your message.
- Enquiry context. Alongside a message we record where it came from — the page, the residence or advisor concerned, the market, and any search term that led you there — so the right person answers with the right information.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard request information such as IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, and the pages requested.
When you submit a form, those details are transmitted to our enquiry system (Metasession) so that the right advisor receives them. They are not posted publicly and are not shared with anyone outside LISTED CASA and the advisor concerned.
We do not ask for identity documents, financial details or payment information through this website. Please do not send them to us by email either — an advisor will tell you the secure route when it becomes relevant.
What stays on your device
When you save a residence or an advisor, that list is written to your browser’s local storage under the keys listedcasa:saved-residences and listedcasa:saved-advisors. It stays on the device you saved it on. It is not sent to us, it is not linked to you, and it is not visible to anyone else — clearing your browser data removes it entirely.
See the Cookie Policy for the full list of storage this site uses.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and put you in contact with the appropriate advisor.
- To send you information about a residence or market you have asked about.
- To understand which pages and markets people use, in aggregate, so we can improve the site.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and anti-money-laundering obligations where a transaction proceeds.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list because you sent a single enquiry.
Our lawful basis
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you initiated, and operating and securing the website.
- Consent — for any optional analytics or marketing, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — identity and source-of-funds checks required of property professionals.
Where Nigerian data protection law applies to our Lagos and Abuja activity, we process on the equivalent bases under the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
Third parties
This website depends on a small number of external services. Each one sees something different:
- Vercel — hosting, and privacy-focused page analytics in production. Processes request data including IP address.
- Metasession — two things. Product analytics, loaded on every page, which records how visitors move through the site. And the system that receives your enquiry when you submit a form: your name, email, telephone and message are sent to it so an advisor can reply. Metasession processes this on our instructions and does not use it for its own purposes.
- OpenStreetMap — the map on residence pages is embedded from openstreetmap.org, which receives a request from your browser when that section loads.
- Unsplash — photography is served from images.unsplash.com, which likewise receives a request from your browser.
Following an external link — to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, X or an advisor’s own site — takes you outside this policy and onto theirs.
International transfers
We operate across the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, the Gulf and West Africa, so an enquiry may be handled by an advisor or office outside the country you sent it from. Where personal information moves between jurisdictions we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where required.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that go no further — kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Active client relationships — kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for as long as regulation requires, which for property transactions is generally at least five years.
- Aggregated analytics — retained without identifying anyone.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to another provider. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time.
Write to privacy@listed.casa. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you may complain to your national supervisory authority — in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office; in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiry records is limited to the advisors and staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and the relevant regulator promptly if a breach affects your information.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you noticing.
