Cookies and similar technologies
“Cookies” is shorthand for several ways a website can keep information in your browser: cookies themselves, local storage, and the requests your browser makes to other companies to load an image or a map.
This page lists every one of them that this site uses. It is a short list on purpose, and we would rather explain it precisely than reassure you vaguely.
What this site actually uses
This site carries no advertising cookies and no advertising network, and does not sell or share your data with advertisers. It does run product analytics to understand how the site is used. The complete inventory is below.

Saved residences and advisors
The heart icon writes a list of slugs to your browser’s local storage. That list never leaves your device: it is not sent to us, not attached to an account, and not readable by any other site. Open the same page on a different device or browser and your saved items will not be there.
To clear it, use your browser’s “clear site data” control, or unsave each item. If storage is unavailable — private browsing, or a browser set to block site data — the buttons simply stop remembering, and nothing else breaks.
Analytics
Two analytics tools run here, and they do different things.
- Vercel Analytics counts page views and referrers without setting a cookie or building a profile of you. It runs on the published site only, not in development or preview builds.
- Metasession Growth is our product analytics, loaded on every page. It records how visitors move through the site — pages seen, actions taken — so we can see which markets and residences draw interest and where the experience fails people. It may store an identifier in your browser to recognise a returning session.
Neither is used to build an advertising profile or to follow you onto other websites. If you would rather not be measured at all, the controls in the next section switch both off.
Embedded maps and images
Residence pages embed a map from OpenStreetMap, and photography throughout the site is served by Unsplash. Loading either means your browser contacts those companies directly, and they may set their own storage under their own policies. The map is loaded lazily, so it contacts OpenStreetMap only if you scroll to it.
Following a link to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, X or YouTube takes you onto their platforms and their policies.
Your choices
There is no advertising here to opt out of, but the analytics described above do run by default. You can stop all of it from your browser:
- Use a tracker-blocking extension, or a browser that blocks analytics requests, to switch off both analytics tools.
- Block or clear site data for this domain to remove saved residences and advisors.
- Block third-party requests to suppress the embedded map and imagery, at the cost of those features.
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour where your browser supports it.
None of these will lock you out. The site is built to work when storage is refused and when every third-party request is blocked.
If you would like your analytics data removed, write to privacy@listed.casa and we will have it deleted.
